ext = Extended bloom time it is open
re = Rebloom sending up more scapes after the first appear
Ploidy
DIP = Diploid [22 chromosomes]

TET = Tetraploid [44 chromosomes]

Diploids
are how daylilies first occurred in nature. A Tetriploid was first created by a chemical application.  A cross between two Tetraploid daylilies will yield a TET hybrid  without chemical application.

dbl = A Double is extra petals
F = Fragrant bloom

Flower Color
*self  = all one solid color
*blend = a blend of two colors to make one
*bicolor = petals and sepals that are different color
*bitone = sepals a lighter color of the overall daylily color. 
 
Flower Description
*green throat - the color in the deep area where petals attach
*watermark a lighter color where the petals descend into the throat, similar to eyezone
*midribs, a darker or lighter line down petals
*halo = similar to an eyezone coloring  but only on petals
